Today was the first day of school for the older boys. 6th and 8th grade. Both in Junior High. They both got up promptly at 6am and were ready to go by 6:30. Their bus comes at 7am. There was no nagging or dragging this morning. We will see how long the excitement lasts!Brodie did pretty well. I thought he would have a tough time since he has been Tony's shadow most of the summer. He woke up in time to see them get on the bus. He waved good bye from the window.
I kept him pretty busy today so I think that kept his mind off the boys being gone all day. Doesn't he look so big sitting at the computer? It is amazing how well he can work the mouse already.
Drew came down with a gastro bug yesterday afternoon. He didn't sleep well last night. Today when it was time for nap he actually asked me to tuck him in and he never left his bed. If you know Drew, you know that he NEVER sleeps in his bed. He was really tired. He slept for almost 3 hours! He felt much better after he woke up.
