After hitting some garage sales this morning the kids and I headed home to make May baskets.
I have been saving all my strawberry containers for this project! Add a little tissue paper (so the candies don't fall out) and a pipe cleaner handle and your all set.
Popcorn, M & M's, peanuts and Fruit Loops...it doesn't get any better than that!
It's amazing anything got put into the baskets!
I am off to Colo for the weekend to help my in-laws with their garage sale. The whole town is having a sale. Looking forward to finding some good treasurers! Have a great weekend!Linked to Ramblings of a Crazy Womans Friday Showcase.

I love this idea. The strawberries at my grocery store come in dumb plastic containers with a lid, not those green baskets. I'll have to shop around and keep this idea in mind for the future.
I love this May Day project. To me food is always better than flowers. Thanks for the fun idea.
I am so making these! I'm getting strawberries to make jam next week and this is what I'm doing with the baskets!
