The little boys have been very anti-crafts lately so you will be seeing less of our craftiness I guess for a little while! I have lots of little projects planned but they seem to be against anything that has to do with being artsy! Sooo, we have been spending the last couple weeks or so just playing cars, legos, make believe cooking and so on and spending lots of time outside.
I suppose this is just a phase right? Has anyone dealt with this with their little ones? I always have these great ideas (or at least I think they are) for a craft or something fun to do and they show no interest. They would much rather throw the cushions off the couch and wrestle...

Yes, my boys are no fun. They would rather be playing video games.
I think it just has a lot to do with OUR expectations and THEIR level of FUN...in other words, WE really like to CRAFT...THEY really like to PLAY at this age. It's just finding that balance. Plus, with the weather FINALLY getting nice enough to get outside, none of us want to be INSIDE doing anything! Just remember, they are learning through playing too! :)
After raising a family it sounds real normal. Some time even at my age I can't get motivated. Gramps

Thanks for checking out my blog. My son is definitely not as interested in crafts as his sister. He will do them, but finishes very quickly and doesn't like to put any "finishing touches" on them. Four boys must keep you VERY busy! :) Tanya
