ABC Book

Drew didn't sleep good again last night. Will slept with him in the chair. Then he was up for good this morning at 5:30am. He still hasn't fallen asleep for his nap yet...I noticed a little drainage coming out of his ear this morning so I am guessing he has another infection.

On a happier note I finally got my ABC book for Brodie done. Now I just have to take it to get it laminated somewhere. I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

I also had to post this picture of Jake and our cat. This is the picture I used for J in the ABC book. I told Jake to hold the cat and the cat turned and licked him on the check. It was really funny. See...our cat really is nice, some people don't believe me.

laminating is something like 9 cents a foot in our district if you want to drive over here....

Yeah, that cat is almost as big as Jake! By the way, Jake looks so much like you, Sara! It's eerie!

I hope you and the kids get some sleep tonight!

No crazy antibiotics ranters yet. I think we scared them away last time. Whoopppee!

*hugs*

Sarah,
OMG!
I am begging you, please just be open-minded here, please, that is all I am asking.

I am not saying antibiotics are bad! They have saved many lives!

What I am talking about, is Candida, which can be caused by \"overuse\" of antibiotics.

Please let us just be logical here, ok. You are in the medical field, right. So, then, you know that antibiotics not only kill the bad bacteria, but the good bacteria, right? I’m sure u know this.

Well, when the good bacteria is not present in the body to fight off our natural yeast, the yeast can overgrow. Please look this up, that’s all I’m asking.

You can delete this message, too. That is fine, but please take this seriously ok. I’m not one of those “anti-vax” or “anti-antibiotic” people who have posted before, please believe me, ok!!

I am just another mom who has been reading your blog and I have suffered and my child has suffered through candida ourselves and have just discovered we have it!

Ear drainage is a symptom of candida, please look it up. Don’t you wonder why his ear is constantly draining? Don’t you wonder why he constantly had ear infections?

There is a medical article that states that 1 in 10 ear infections are actually caused by yeast overgrowth, not bacteria. You are in the medical field, please look this up for yourself. Please. That is all I am asking.

Dear Sarah,

My email address is concernedmom35@yahoo.com if you want to discuss this further. I SWEAR to you, I am not one of those crazy people who was posting on your blog before.

Before I discovered my child had Candida, I was exactly like you, defensive, when it came to my child. But sometimes, we need to be open-minded. How many more years of ear infections and drainage and pain are going to happen before you finally look back and say, “wow, maybe I should have learned about Candida”.

Before you delete this post, please copy and save this below link to an article that you can read, written by a Pediatrician. He’s an M.D.

You said you have been in the medical field for 5 years. This Pediatrician has been in the medical field for over 40 years. Please just take the 5 minutes that it takes to read his article. He even says antibiotics save lives.

Please just stop being defensive and just please save this link, and read this article:

http://www.parentsofallergicchildren.org/ear1.htm

If you don’t want to listen to me, and go in and try and get antibiotics for your son’s ear infection, please just print out the above article and give it to your pediatrician.

Ask him/her, instead of giving you the regular antibiotics, if he/she can give you “Diflucan”. This is an anti-yeast/anti-fungal antibiotic. Also, cut out ALL sugars from his diet, and I mean all. And I swear to you that you will see a difference. Please just believe me about this. Please give your doctor the info. from this other pediatrician who knows about this.

Also, you could ask your Pediatrician to do the Candida Immune Complexes test.
It is expensive and must be ordered by your physician. They range in price from $100 to $250 plus the cost of visiting your physician twice. Once for the initial visit and blood draw and once again to discuss the results.

Also, when your child is on Diflucan, and off sugars, you can read here what happens to the body when the yeast is killed off and the body goes through de-tox:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/help1.php

I only hope that you will look into this now, instead of 10 years down the road after many ear infections and drainage.

It is a long process to cure Candida in the body, but with the right diet and vitamins/minerals, your child can feel so much better and overcome this!

Peace, care, and concern, from one mom to another,
Nichole

I love the ABC book, we're working on making one with my two year old. I am putting the pictures in a little cheapo photo album so it will stand up to her fingers touching it and us rereading it over and over.
