Tissue Paper Heart Craft

I have found a new love...contact paper! Who knew all the fun things you could make with it! Here are some cute hearts we made to decorate our window. All you need is tissue paper, contact paper and scissors.

I had the boys rip up pieces of tissue paper (I think this was the best part). Cut off a piece of contact paper to the size you want. Then I peeled back one side of the paper and they placed the tissue on the sticky side. When the side was completely covered I peeled off the rest of the paper and folded it over.Cut out a heart shape. We hung these in the windows and they look awesome. The light shines through the tissue paper making them look really cool.Linked to ABC and 123 Sharing the Love.

Those are neat! So am I understanding right in that you folded the contact paper over onto itself? :)

Ah yes, I too have a love/addiction for contact paper! We love to make our own window clings with it too. It sticks so well to the windows(much better than static clings) and peels off just fine without leaving any stickiness.

Michelle,
Yep, I just folded it over so it stuck to itself. It made it easier to cut this way. Then I just used scotch tape to tape it to the window. You can't even see the tape.
