I spent a day last week doing some holiday baking. While I had a mess on the counters, Emily had a mess on the floor. She had fun emptying drawers and playing with utensils. 
She entertained herself quite well and I got alot accomplished. We made chocolate chip, sugar, and gingersnap cookies. I also made my first batch of kringla and it was wonderful. The goal was to send most of the cookies to work with Will. The only problem was I forgot he was off on Friday so the goodies sat around the house all weekend begging to be eaten. Needless to say, Will only took 1 tin of cookies to work with him today instead of 2. Maybe I will do a better job on the banana breads.
