It's hard to believe Emily is a month old already. In some ways it seems like it has been a very long 4 weeks but in other ways it has seemed to really fly by.We went to the doctor weekly for the first 3 weeks because she was having a little bit of a problem gaining weight. When we left the hospital she was 7lbs 8oz. At her 3 week check she was finally over her birthday weight (8lbs 4oz) and weighed in at 8lbs 7oz. As you can see from the picture below she is definitely filling out.
I am nursing and she is doing really well. She isn't on much of a schedule. I just feed her whenever she thinks she needs to eat. Sometimes that means every 2 hours and sometimes she goes a little longer. She is doing ok at nights. The first couple weeks she was extremely fussy in the evenings and up until around 11pm. She is getting better at this now.The pictures below don't show it but she is really close to smiling. Just don't put her down because she really prefers to be held.

so cute! Our little girl will be 3 weeks this Tuesday. I know what you mean about it feeling like forever, but also flying by!
